- Work as part of a team
- Stay engaged during assignments
- Communicate clearly and respectfully
Code of Conduct
Volunteers agree to:
- Speak with kindness and encouragement
- Avoid inappropriate language or behavior
- Never engage in favoritism or exclusion
- Respect confidentiality
- Follow safety guidelines
- Model Christ-like character
- Support the mission at all times
Note: Failure to follow these standards may result in removal from volunteer service.
Youth Safety & Protection
TTRRUTH is committed to providing a safe environment for all teens and young adults. Safety is not optional – it is a core responsibility.
Volunteers must:
- Follow all safety procedures
- Avoid being alone with a minor in private settings when possible
- Report any concerns to leadership immediately
- Respect physical and emotional boundaries
- Follow mandatory reporting laws when required
Communication Standards
Volunteers should:
- Speak respectfully to all participants
- Avoid private or inappropriate messaging with minors
- Use approved communication channels
- Direct concerns to leadership
- Avoid sharing confidential information
Serving with Excellence
Excellence means doing small things well. At TTRRUTH, excellence looks like:

Event & Program Guidelines
When serving at events, volunteers should:
- Follow assigned roles
- Stay in designated areas
- Support setup and cleanup
- Assist participants respectfully
- Communicate needs to leaders
- Maintain awareness of safety
Emergency Procedures
In the event of an emergency:
- Remain calm
- Notify a TTRRUTH leader immediately
- Follow instructions from leadership
- Assist participants as directed
- Do not take independent action unless necessary for safety
